Build an AI ad angle matrix from product facts

An angle matrix maps a buying situation to a message the creative can actually show. It helps you make distinct ideas without replacing one adjective in the same script. Start from confirmed product features and proposed situations, keeping audience assumptions separate from evidence.

Use a product with observable differences

Imagine a photographed zip pouch with one confirmed front pocket. You have clear photos of the zipper, pocket and overall shape, but no capacity measurement. That input can support different explanations about those visible features. It cannot support an invented list of everything the pouch will hold.

Write the situations as hypotheses: someone organizing a desk drawer, someone preparing a small carry bag, or someone examining how the pouch opens. These do not claim you researched those audiences. They give each creative a question to answer.

Build a matrix with a proof column

The proof column is the useful constraint. If an angle has no observable support or confirmed fact, either obtain that evidence or leave it out. A broad promise such as “organize your entire day” is less actionable than showing a specific pocket.

Turn one row into a complete brief

For the opening row, begin with the closed pouch on a table. One hand opens the zipper while the other supports it; the camera stays fixed and the pouch settles open. Approve a line such as, “See the zipper and opening on this pouch.” Keep the product reference and chosen color explicit.

For the finish row, avoid reusing that action with a new adjective. Use a slower view that gives the color and texture room to be inspected. This is a distinct creative question, even if both ads use the same product reference.

Prioritize rows before paying for renders

Choose the row that answers the clearest current product question and requires the fewest unknown views. Prepare the references, words and final state first. In fairytale video, each generation is a deliberate paid job, so an angle matrix should help select useful work rather than automatically turn every row into a render.

Keep the matrix with your review notes and mark which angle each finished file represents. Use feature-to-benefit reasoning, audience-message planning and one-variable comparisons when deciding which ideas deserve a more controlled comparison.
