An AI ad checklist before paid generation
Use a pre-generation checklist to catch decisions that the model should not make for you. The goal is a coherent handoff: one product, a supported action, approved words and a frame that can show the result. A readiness message is useful, but it cannot confirm your merchant's facts.
Check the facts first
- Is this the exact product and color variant you intend to advertise?
- Can every factual phrase be traced to a merchant record or supplied evidence?
- Are unknown measurements, unseen views and unverified performance details still marked unknown?
- Does any price, offer or availability statement match the current destination?
For a hypothetical bottle ad, a photographed carry loop supports showing a lift. It does not establish leak resistance. Remove the spill demonstration if you have no evidence for it, rather than asking the video to make the missing proof look convincing.
Check the reference jobs
- Product: whole-object hero, identifying-detail close-up and the original views needed for the action.
- Character: optional, with a usable appearance and outfit if selected.
- Scene: a plausible location and surface, with enough room for the movement.
- Continuity: source images show the same item, packaging and color.
In fairytale, uploads place references in the ad before drawing a sheet. Missing sheets from uploaded references are prepared when the video is generated and appear in the quote. Described characters, described scenes and new looks keep their separate paid preparation flows.
Check the words against the action
Read the brief and exact spoken lines aloud together. If the line describes an open lid while the scene only lifts a closed bottle, resolve the mismatch. Leave the speech field blank when no dialogue is needed. Rehearse the line with pauses and the planned action; use the word-budget guide when the ending feels rushed.
The studio may write an initial draft. Edit or delete anything that does not fit your intended message. Drafted text is not evidence of a feature, an offer or a customer's experience.
Check the request you are about to start
- Frame: does the product fit the selected vertical or horizontal composition?
- Duration: can the start, main action and finish occupy the selected 4–30 seconds?
- Resolution: is 720p or 1080p appropriate for the intended output?
- Credits: have you read the current Generate quote and listed missing sheets?
- Account: are you signed in with Google for paid work?
- Review: have you written down the product details and exact words that must survive?
Keep the decisions in the production brief. After generation, use the release checklist to inspect the result and its downloaded file. Passing this handoff check means the assignment is ready to attempt; the finished output still needs review.
