Make an AI product ad for Instagram Reels
For an Instagram Reels ad, choose a viewing situation before choosing a look. A creator arranging a product during a daily routine gives the video a concrete purpose. The viewer should be able to identify both the item and the action without reading a long explanation below it.
Make the product part of one routine
Consider a hypothetical ceramic cup ad for someone setting up a morning desk. The reference photographs show a pale glaze, a rounded handle and one actual cup. The creative can show placing that cup beside a notebook. It cannot establish heat retention, dishwasher suitability or a precise capacity unless those facts are supplied and approved.
The scene should make the gesture easy to see: a clear patch of desk, enough space around the handle, and a background that stays quiet. A dramatic overhead move would compete with the simple placement. Decide whether the creator’s expression adds useful context or whether a product-led shot is clearer.
Build a version around the handle
A ten-second brief could read: “Start with the cup held by its photographed handle. Lower it gently onto the desk, release it and leave it still. Keep the handle shape, glaze and label details consistent. Use a close, level camera and soft window light.” One possible approved line is, “A cup for the corner of your desk. See its shape and finish.” This is an illustrative script, not a testimonial.
Ask for a quiet final state rather than a flourish after the placement. That gives the viewer time to see the item. If a close-up loses the surrounding routine, include a little more desk; if the cup becomes tiny, remove background objects instead of adding sharper camera motion.
Check framing after captions are added
- Can you see the entire cup before and after the hand releases it?
- Does the caption box remain clear of the handle?
- Does the creator’s mouth stay visible during the spoken line?
- Does the intended Reels preview add interface elements over the focal area?
Use the actual destination preview rather than assuming one layout fits every placement. Keep a copy without burned-in captions so you can choose the publishing treatment deliberately. In fairytale video, captions are an explicit step after generation: review the heard words, choose the font and animation, place the box, then render a separate captioned MP4.
Keep the next revision narrow
If the routine feels slow, first shorten the pause before the cup moves. If the product is unclear, reconsider the framing. These are different creative problems; changing both at once obscures what helped. Preserve the original finished video and record which decision changed in the next brief.
Use a lifestyle product outline to refine the routine, caption placement to keep it readable, and repurposing notes before adapting the same concept elsewhere. Publishing and paid campaign configuration happen separately from creative generation.
