Prepare AI video creative for email

A practical email campaign can use an image that links to a page containing the video. This gives you a clear creative path without assuming the same inline video behavior across every email client. Design the poster, message and destination together so a click delivers what the email suggests.

Choose the destination before the opening frame

For a hypothetical reusable bottle launch, decide whether the email should lead to the bottle’s product page or a campaign page with a demonstration. The destination must contain the promised information. A poster suggesting a cap-opening demo should not lead to a generic homepage where that demonstration is difficult to find.

Keep the email’s useful product explanation in text as well. Someone who does not click should still understand what is being introduced. Treat the video as a supporting detail, not the only place you disclose an offer, delivery condition or important product limitation.

Brief the video with a usable poster in mind

An illustrative ten-second clip can begin with the photographed bottle held upright, then show one supported cap opening and finish with the cap still attached as designed. Choose a frame where the bottle and cap are both recognizable, without motion blur or a hand covering the label. That frame is a candidate poster, not proof that the complete video is accurate.

Review the finished motion before selecting the still. A polished first frame does not justify publishing a clip where the cap changes shape later. Keep the spoken line modest, for example, “Take a closer look at the bottle’s cap.” Use it only if the destination actually shows that detail.

A copy-and-link planning card

This is a planning example; it contains no invented discount or performance claim. Build the email in your normal email tool. fairytale video generates downloadable creative and does not assemble or send an email campaign.

Test the whole path, not just the file

Send a preview through your own review process and inspect the image, its alternative description, the button and the destination on a phone. Click each link. Confirm that the destination loads the intended product version and that the video can be understood when muted. If speech carries the explanation, consider a reviewed captioned copy there.

Record the poster and destination used for each send so later observations remain interpretable. Reusing a video in another message still requires checking its promise and destination. See landing-page planning, closing instructions and variant records for those connected decisions.
