Write a product demo script: bottle example

A product demo script should explain the action the viewer can see. Choose one mechanism and let the line arrive when it becomes relevant. Extra adjectives cannot compensate for an action hidden behind a hand or a camera cut.

Define what the bottle demonstration proves

In this hypothetical example, the source photos show a bottle with a screw cap and an attached loop. The merchant confirms those two features. Capacity, insulation and leak resistance remain unknown. The demonstration shows the cap opening and being returned; it does not test the bottle.

Before writing speech, define three states: closed cap, cap removed with the opening visible, and cap back on the bottle. Use source views that establish the cap and opening. If no open view is available, obtain one or choose the simpler loop-lift action.

A proposed ten-second show-and-explain script

TimePictureProposed exact words
0–2 secondsClosed bottle upright; cap and front visible“A closer look at the cap.”
2–7 secondsOne hand holds the bottle while the other removes the cap onceNo new line; let the movement read
7–10 secondsCap returns; bottle held still at the finish“See the bottle details.”

This is a planning example. Rehearse both the motion and words; if the cap action needs more time, extend the duration or simplify the sequence. Do not speed the movement into an implausible twist to protect a ten-second target.

Keep speech from competing with the mechanism

The opening line directs attention to the cap. The quiet middle gives the viewer time to watch the contact and separation. The closing line points toward information rather than claiming a result the action did not establish.

A line such as “Never leaks, wherever you go” changes the assignment into a performance claim. Even a perfectly generated cap movement would not support it. Keep the factual boundary from the brief visible while editing the dialogue.

Transfer the script into production

In fairytale, describe the states and movement in Describe your ad. Put only approved speech in Exact spoken lines, with the chosen voice. The studio builds its own concept and timed plan from those settings. You do not need to turn this table into a different reference-sheet layout.

Uploaded product photos enter the project immediately; a missing product sheet is prepared when Generate starts the paid video. Review the quote, then inspect the resulting cap, opening and grip against the originals.

The product-action guide helps choose the mechanism. Use dialogue rehearsal for timing and scale guidance if the script needs a measured size claim. After rendering, listen for the exact line and check the transition as closely as the final pose.
