Choose an AI ads generator with a scorecard
Choose an ads generator by the work your product ad requires. A dramatic sample clip cannot answer whether a workflow will keep your particular label, approved sentence or closing shot. Write the requirements first, then compare the workflow against them.
Define a reference assignment
For this hypothetical comparison, the product is a photographed clear bottle with a printed front label. The required clip shows the closed bottle lifted once and set back down. It has one approved spoken sentence and an end frame with the label visible. You have not supplied the reverse side or a leak test.
Use the same assignment for each workflow you investigate. If one demonstration changes the bottle or omits the spoken line, it is answering a different question. You can review documentation and available examples before deciding whether a paid attempt is useful.
A requirement scorecard
| Requirement | Evidence to look for | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Original product references | How whole-product and detail images reach generation | A small label needs its own readable source |
| Exact speech | A field or process for approved lines | A paraphrase can add an unsupported claim |
| Continuity | How the same object and outfit are reused | The opening and ending must represent one product |
| Output control | Available frame, duration and resolution | The scene must fit its intended placement |
| Cost visibility | What the displayed quote includes | Preparation and video generation may be separate paid work |
| Revision history | Whether a finished output survives later edits | You need a dependable comparison with the next version |
Mark each row “documented,” “observed in an example” or “still unknown.” Those labels are more informative than a single score assembled from guesses. A requirement that is essential to your product should remain essential even if the sample visuals look impressive.
Apply the scorecard to fairytale
Fairytale's Guided ad uses character, product and scene references, a description and exact spoken lines. The Generate quote includes the selected video and missing sheets from uploaded references. Those sheets are prepared first and saved for reuse. The video keeps its production inputs, and later project edits do not change the finished output.
These controls still require result review. The source images do not guarantee perfect text or plausible bottle handling. Use the label checks on the actual result rather than treating reference support as a quality promise.
Decide from the unresolved requirements
If lettering is essential and no available example proves it at the required size, record that uncertainty. You may need real product footage for that part of the ad. See the generator selection guide for broader criteria and the project checklist before committing to a render.
