Set up a small-team AI ad approval workflow

A small team can approve an ad with three clear responsibilities: someone confirms the product facts, someone checks the creative plan, and someone reviews the released file. One person may hold all three roles. What matters is that each decision is explicit rather than hidden inside a general approval message.

Approve the facts before the performance

For a hypothetical soap launch, the fact reviewer confirms the actual packaging, product name and approved descriptive claims. Unknown measurements stay unknown. No one should approve a generated handwashing scene as evidence that the soap produces a particular skin result.

Keep the confirmed facts beside the original product photos. If the creative proposes an opening or view the photos do not support, resolve that gap before generation. Changing “probably included” to a confident spoken claim is not a routine copy edit.

Review the plan as its own artifact

The creative reviewer checks your written shot outline: the starting state, one primary action, camera, ending, transitions and exact spoken line. For the soap example: a wrapped bar sits by the sink; a hand places it closer to the camera; the wrapping remains intact; the shot settles. Approve what should happen before paying to render it.

A concise handoff might read, “Packaging and product name confirmed. Do not show unwrapping because the inside view is unavailable. Approved speech: ‘See the soap and its packaging details.’ Use a fixed camera and leave the label unobstructed.” This gives the next reviewer something concrete to compare.

Assign a final-output gate

ResponsibilityQuestionEvidence
FactsIs the product represented truthfully?Confirmed copy and original photographs
CreativeDoes the action communicate the intended message?Approved brief and your written shot outline
ReleaseDoes this exact file pass?Finished video, audio and destination preview

The final reviewer watches normally, then inspects any suspect contact or label frame. They listen to the complete speech and review captions if present. A passed plan does not automatically approve a rendered file that adds a claim or changes the packaging.

Make feedback actionable and preserve decisions

Write “label changes after the hand lifts the bar at six seconds,” rather than “make it more realistic.” Mark whether the file is held, rejected or approved, and who owns the next action. If references or words change, record what changed; earlier finished outputs remain tied to their original production records.

In fairytale video, prepare projects and approved words before generation; guests sign in when paid generation is needed. Each render is deliberate paid work. Use a fact-aware brief, release gates and variant records to keep the handoff simple.
