Write a seven-field AI scene style block

A scene photograph establishes where things are. A style block establishes how the place should look and feel. Fairytale video keeps seven fields for this direction: lighting, palette, composition, grain, lens, ambience and location. Fill each with a concrete choice instead of using several fields to repeat “cinematic”.

A complete hypothetical desk example

Imagine a photographed green notebook at a simple home desk. The product photos establish its cover and binding; page count, paper weight and dimensions are unknown. The ad shows a creator opening it once, with no readable generated handwriting. This style block supports that task:

Lighting: soft daylight from the window at frame left;
          steady exposure, no flickering desk lamp.
Palette: neutral cream and wood; preserve green cover.
Composition: notebook in lower centre, face above;
             leave the opening cover clear of frame edges.
Grain: subtle natural texture, no heavy film scratches.
Lens: fixed normal perspective, no extreme wide-angle.
Ambience: quiet daytime room, small natural movements.
Location: plain home desk facing the photographed wall.

This hypothetical direction gives each field a separate job. A later ad can reuse the same room and look while changing the product action, without rebuilding its entire visual identity.

Understand what each field cannot do

Lighting cannot verify product colour by itself; compare the finished image with the source. Palette must not repaint a product to match the room. Composition places the subject but does not dictate a whole multi-stage camera move. Grain is texture, not permission to hide packaging errors. Lens describes perspective without establishing an unprovided camera specification.

Ambience covers the scene’s mood and background behaviour; use separate audio instructions for the exact spoken line and sound. Location should agree with the scene reference. Do not write “small desk in a bedroom” while attaching a shop counter photograph and expect both layouts to survive.

Check for conflicting instructions

Use the lighting guide when a field contains competing light sources. For layout, the home studio scene guide turns a mood into actual table, person and camera relationships.

Keep it reusable, then review the result

Save a clear style block with the scene reference and reuse it while it still fits. Editing a shared reference saves your own copy; later edits do not alter finished videos. The video prompt still needs its timed stages, continuity, camera, performance, audio and exclusions. The full prompt structure shows where the style block belongs within that larger production direction.
