Plan an AI product ad without a person
A product ad does not need a person simply because it is a video. If the useful information is a shape, finish or arrangement, a creator can take attention away from it. A product-led ad can instead use a carefully chosen viewpoint, one modest movement and a final frame that helps the viewer recognise the item in the shop.
Decide what replaces the human explanation
Hypothetical example: a ceramic shop wants to show the broad handle and blue glaze of a photographed mug. There is no verified capacity, dishwasher information or heat-retention claim. The ad can show the mug resting on a real table with a slow camera move, rather than inventing a pouring or drinking demonstration.
The object needs visual structure: an opening that establishes its whole shape, a middle that reveals the chosen detail and an ending that returns to a recognisable view. Merely rotating it through every possible angle asks the model to invent surfaces your photos may not show. Choose a move that stays within the views actually supplied.
Separate camera motion from product motion
A camera moving a little around a stationary object makes fewer physical demands than an object floating, spinning or assembling itself. Specify a stable support surface and the contact shadow beneath it. If nothing touches the mug, it should not slide or tip. Keep the background still enough that the viewer can distinguish the intended movement.
Hypothetical ten-second outline:
0–3 s: mug stationary on the table, handle visible.
3–7 s: camera moves slightly toward the glazed surface;
mug, handle and shadow remain fixed.
7–10 s: camera settles on the complete mug.
Dialogue: none. Do not add readable generated lettering.
This is a creative outline, not a substitute for the full timed production plan. The final plan still needs camera, initial and end states, transitions, continuity and audio direction. Use the silent storyboard guide to check whether the sequence reads without words.
Use the optional-character workflow
In fairytale video, leave the character unselected when the ad does not need one. Choose the product and scene, describe the shot and leave the exact spoken-lines field blank for no dialogue. Uploaded references with missing sheets are prepared as paid reference work during video generation and included in its quote. Every video render uses credits.
Review for physical stability
- The object has one support surface throughout.
- The shadow remains attached to the correct contact point.
- The identifying detail matches the original photograph.
- The final frame reveals enough of the product to recognise it.
Sound is optional, but an invented pouring or clicking sound can imply an action that never occurs. Keep the audio consistent with the scene. For further direction, use tabletop staging and observable product demonstrations.
